Here’s a little bit about me…
Hi, my name is Mary Sue Novosel (Fitzgibbons) and I am looking forward to tutoring your student. I grew up in Evergreen Park, IL and attended Most Holy Redeemer and Mother McAuley High School. I started peer tutoring in high school and quickly realized how fulfilling it was. I went to University of Wisconsin-Madison where I received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. I worked as a nursing assistant and paraprofessional while earning my Masters in Special Education. I have been working as a special education teacher/case manager in a variety of different settings since 2012. On and off since high school, I have been tutoring students in a number of different subjects including math, science, ACT and GRE. I am passionate about seeing other people improve in their academics and reach their academic goal. I have worked with over 50 students on the ACT and 95% have improved their score and I have never had a student’s score decrease. I focus on coming up with an individual plan for each student and figuring out a way to capitalize on each student’s strength in order to get them to their goal. Please contact me if you are interested in tutoring or if you have any questions. Thanks!
